Rose Cardamom Chai Tiramisu
This Rose Cardamom Chai Tiramisu idea came to me a few days ago. I took the traditional ingredients from Italian tiramisu and made a few substitutes to add an Indian twist into one of my favorite desserts! This eggless dessert is perfect for Diwali or any other holidays!
I swapped the traditional espresso in tiramisu with rose cardamom chai and swapped the lady finger biscuits with Parle-G and Sweet and Salty biscuits from the Indian grocery store. While traditional tiramisu has eggs in the whipped cream, I added a bit of yogurt to help with the consistency. The whipped cream filling is made of mascarpone cheese, heavy whipping cream, yogurt, sugar, rose water, vanilla, and cardamom powder!
