Dabeli Pinwheels

These Dabeli Pinwheels are so simple and perfect for Diwali! This is my take on the popular street food in India. While Dabeli is usually served in a sandwich bun, this recipe rolls the filling in between a flakey puff pastry sheet!

The dabeli masala can be found the Indian grocery store, along with ready made chutneys (if you don’t have time for homemade) and sev. The potatoes can be boiled, or I prefer to pressure cook them in the Instant Pot. The filling comes together in minutes, and while the pinwheels are baking the rest of the garnishes can be prepared! I topped mine with cilantro chutney, tamarind chutney, crushed peanuts, cilanto, sev, and pomegranate seeds!
